So close, but so far away!

More hours into the bike bring it to a very close stage. Only a few tbings left to do.

Carbs were rebuilt, jets cleaned, and installed with the new pod filters.

Clip-ons installed, and all the controls wired up minus the signals.

Front signals are mounted, but need a wiring. Still need a tail light and plate mount. And to wire in the battery, sort out the space issue with the rec/reg and starter mag.

A few more tabs grinded off the frame, and a solid check over of the bike and it should be running, and rideable. Who knows what Ill have to do for jetting, but a run of the bike is in need first.

Seat werk

Got damn near close to finishing the seat this weekend. Its mounted, wrapped in leather, batterys sittin nice inside, and I sewed up a seat cover, and wrapped some underlay in it. (underlay makes great seats believe it or not)

All I have left to do on it is work a few of the creases out on the back of it.

Tomorrow my package from dime city will arrive. This means, my clip ons, pods, fuel line, etc gets here. From there I can finish this bitch up, and get her going.

Enjoy.

Some more progress!

Over the last few days I have gotten some more progress on the cb. Got the full roller painted and buttoned up, still need to hack a few more un-needed mounts out of the triangle but other then that, its looking good.

Wheels are cleaned, painted, greased and back in. Same for the engine. Seat pan mounted up, battery mounted to it with industrial grade velcro, and more progress on the seat. Seat is damn near ready for paint, and mounts are completed. Started to dip into the electrical, got my diagram drawn up, and everything labeled.

Fibreglass Time!

Yesterday I began work on the cafe seat.

I got 3 layers of glass layed down, and will probably add 2 or so more.

Enjoy.
